Petaluma, Calif. (December 21, 2018) — Employees of CrossCheck and its subsidiary, Optio Solutions, celebrated the holidays by donating gifts to children in need through the Salvation Army Angel Tree program and food for the hungry via the Annual Food & Funds Drive by the Redwood Empire Food Bank. Holiday cheer was "in the air" as employees watched gifts and food pile up throughout the week around the Christmas tree and in the large food barrels.

(Nov. 27, 2018) — Employees from CrossCheck and its affiliate, Optio Solutions, helped package 7,104 pounds of grocery boxes for seniors in need while volunteering at the Redwood Empire Food Bank on Nov 19. The 240 boxes represent 5,920 meals according to Volunteer Coordinator Joy Ferguson. CrossCheck and Optio Staff members have volunteered at REFB’s weekday Warehouse Support program for seven consecutive months to date, an effort organized by CrossCheck Senior Vice President Charles Dortch III.

(Nov. 20, 2018) — Employees from CrossCheck and its affiliate, Optio Solutions, made an early start on holiday giving by donating 25 turkeys to the Redwood Gospel Mission’s Great Thanksgiving Banquet 2018, a multi-purpose event focused on helping families in need as well as the homeless. The 500 pounds of fresh and frozen turkeys were delivered today in time for the mission’s hot turkey dinner celebration (11 am to 7 pm, Wed., Nov. 21) at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds.

(August 29, 2018) — Employees at CrossCheck and its subsidiary, Optio Solutions, contributed $5,769 to the American Cancer Society (ACS) during a summer fundraising campaign held in three company locations: Petaluma, California; Irving, Texas; and Fargo, North Dakota. “Dress Down Days are the favorite incentive among our employees for community giving,” said CrossCheck President and CEO J. David Siembieda. “In reality, our people would give generously without any individual rewards because cancer touches all of our families.” Individuals qualified for “Dress Down Days” lasting up to four weeks depending on the level of their participation. Those contributing $30 earned the privilege of wearing jeans and casual shirts while an additional $10 allowed a few to reach the higher echelon of wearing shorts.
