Remote Deposit Capture

How does Remote Deposit Capture work?
Merchants receive an approval code after transmitting digital versions of paper checks to CrossCheck:
Check images are captured with desktop scanners or the CrossCheck MobilePay app for smart devices.
Merchants enter additional consumer and purchase info as needed.
Consumers sign a receipt, acknowledging the processing of their check(s).
The digital image (aka "substitute check") is uploaded to CrossCheck, then deposited in the merchant’s account (usually within 72 hours).

How does Check Conversion work?
Conversion Plus provides check guarantee services via desktop readers that retrieve bank and account data from the check before merchants key in consumer information and amounts. Transactions are submitted to CrossCheck and funded within 48 – 72 hours.
