The firm was established in 1983 with the goal of creating cost-effective check processing services that offer the lowest decline rates in the industry. Over the years, CrossCheck has assisted hundreds of thousands of U.S. merchants while experiencing growth via diversification and strategic partnerships with national brands.
CrossCheck is the exclusive check guarantee company for the largest auto dealership group in the USA, a nationwide supplier of commercial gases, and a well-known chain of veterinary clinics. It also services a national distributor of plumbing, electrical and HVAC supplies as well as numerous locations within a national home furnishings chain.

In October 2016, CrossCheck launched Focus, a desktop application offering merchants a virtual terminal for convenient check processing.
