PETALUMA, Calif. – CrossCheck, Inc., a leading provider of check guarantee and electronic check processing services to the auto aftermarket industry, has become a preferred vendor for the Chesapeake Automotive Business Association (CABA). Special check processing programs including Standard Check Guarantee with Multiple Check and C.A.R.S., a remote deposit capture program for the auto industry, will be available to the association membership.
CrossCheck will offer CABA members Multiple Check, COD and Stop Payment premiums along with the Standard Guarantee service. With Multiple Check in place, CABA members can accept two to four checks from a customer for a single sale. The checks are scheduled for deposit over a period of time, giving the customer additional time to pay. Businesses can accept and authorize checks using their existing payment terminal, by phone or by Internet at the CrossCheck web site, reducing the need to invest in equipment. CABA members may also choose to electronically process and deposit checks with the C.A.R.S. service. With C.A.R.S. in place, checks are processed with a PC and check imager, eliminating trips to the bank.
