Part-time Recruiter

The primary function of the Recruiter is to utilize a variety of defined recruitment practices and strategies to source and recruit qualified candidates for open positions throughout CrossCheck and its subsidiaries (internet job sites, cold calling, referrals, job boards, non-profit organizations, colleges and professional job fairs etc.).

Job Duties

  • Manage assigned employee requisitions by working closely with hiring managers
  • Source and recruit candidates and set qualified interviews within expected time frames
  • Post job ads internally and externally; ensure accuracy and quality of ads place
  • Perform reporting and candidate tracking responsibilities
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with internal hiring managers and external sourcing contacts
  • Greet interviewees, conduct testing, if needed
  • Attend Job fairs
  • Order background and drug tests for potential candidates; keep hiring manager updated on results
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with other employees
  • Ability to meet department attendance requirements
  • Backup Receptionist
  • Ability to work effectively under departmental pressure/stress situations

Education/Experience Required to Perform the Job 

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-3 Years prior recruiting or Human Resources work experience is a plus

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to recruit talent at high volumes under tight deadlines
  • Confident cold calling skills to source candidates
  • Pleasant and professional phone etiquette
  • Strong accountability and follow through skills
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Able to develop new and creative methods for recruiting
  • PC experience with MS Word and Excel skills a must
  • Detail oriented
  • Exercise sound judgment
  • Excellent organization and follow through skills
  • Manage multiple tasks at once
  • Adhere to deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Maintain confidentiality as outlined in the company’s Confidentiality Agreement
  • Work well independently and as part of a team
  • Convey professionalism in all day-to-day activities
