FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Petaluma, Calif. (March 3, 2020) — Three members of CrossCheck’s Partner & ISO Relations team are on four separate committees of the Electronic Transactions Association (ETA) in 2020: Vice President Travis Powers, Director of Partner Acquisitions Brandes Elitch, and National Sales Trainer Todd Little (L to R above). ETA committees are responsible for driving the development of the association’s core services, benefits and events. The one-year commitments began Jan. 1.

The ETA is the leading trade association for the payments industry, representing over 500 companies worldwide involved in electronic transaction processing products and services. CrossCheck was on the “ground floor” when ETA’s predecessor, the Bankcard Services Association (BSA), was founded in 1990. BSA morphed into ETA in 1996.

“Our staff members have an enormous amount of hands-on industry knowledge to share with the ETA community,” said CrossCheck President and CEO J. David Siembieda, an ETA board member from 2006 to 2011.

Travis Powers

Vice President Travis Powers will serve on the Retail Technology committee, a group that promotes the convergence of traditional POS and integrated commerce, and identifies the relevant technology and business issues to advance connected commerce.

He began his current role at CrossCheck in 2000 after spending eight years as the vice president of Business Banking for Wells Fargo in Northern Calif.

Brandes Elitch

Director of Partner Acquisitions Brandes Elitch is a member of the Payment Sales & Strategy committee, a forum for discussing effective business practices, operational issues, and developments in the industry that affect the payments sales channel. Elitch — an auto industry payments expert, published author, and Green Sheet columnist — has had an illustrious career in banking and financial services. He is also a certified cash manager and accredited ACH Professional.

Todd Little

National Sales Trainer Todd Little, a college football coach with 23 years in financial services, will serve on two committees.

The Communications committee works with ETA communications staff and supports ETA's strategy and implementation of public relations initiatives designed to position ETA as the world's preeminent payments association.

The TRANSACT Program Planning Committee is responsible for guiding the development of program content and speakers for TRANSACT, the annual tradeshow of ETA.
