ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – CrossCheck, Inc., the nation’s third largest check approval and guarantee company, announced today that the CrossCheck Conversion Plus—New Car Program is certified compatible with the Panini I:Deal™ check scanner, a breakthrough product for remote deposit capture. With CrossCheck’s conversion technology, checks can be processed electronically with a PC and the Panini I:Deal, reducing trips to the bank and streamlining deposit paperwork.

CrossCheck’s Conversion Plus—New Car Program is an enhanced check conversion processing service designed for the retail automotive industry. Using the Panini I:Deal connected to a PC, an auto dealer can process checks from their place of business, eliminating many of the steps involved in manually depositing checks at their bank. CrossCheck’s unique program allows for future deposit of multiple checks (often referred to as a Hold Check program) and COD checks for purchases made in the Parts and Service department. Transaction reporting and account activity is available 24/7 online at no additional charge. In addition, CrossCheck’s Conversion Plus service provides guarantee features and stop payment coverage.

“The I:Deal check scanner along with our conversion program enables CrossCheck to meet the payment requirements of a wide spectrum of merchants who want verification and conversion processing. The speed and sophistication of the I:Deal software allows us to configure our Check 21 verification, guarantee, and RDC products via an online web portal for single or multi-merchant locations.” said J. David Siembieda, CrossCheck’s president and CEO.

The Panini I:Deal was designed by Panini, a market leader in distributed check capture, specifically for small business users of remote deposit capture and check conversion. The affordable check scanner offers dual-sided image capture, document franking, and advanced MICR and OCR reading capabilities for high-quality images.
