Despite overcast skies, intermittent rain and the threat of a possible monsoon, the Summer Las Vegas Market is once again in full swing.
The show kicked off yesterday with a steady flow of traffic comprised of both old and new friends.
Here in building B on the 10th floor in the Retail Resource Center, things are especially exciting. First off, the amount of free education available to retailers is absolutely amazing. Yesterday alone there were over six hours of free educational seminars covering topics such as how to turn lookers into buyers as well as how to eliminate lost sales and create your own stimulus package.
As with past markets and conferences, the NAHFA team has yet again done a phenomenal job of making sure its members are made aware of all the tools available to them which will help them grow their business. What's more is that these retailers want to be educated and are very receptive to anything applicable to the overall success of their business.
Today's slate includes five hours of free seminars revolving around everything from successful email marketing to succession planning for the independent retailer.
