Check Processing & Payments Information

Live from New Orleans… it’s ETA!

New Orleans ETAIt’s here, it’s happening and it’s moving fast! The Electronic Transaction Association (ETA) is holding its Annual Meeting and Expo in New Orleans this year and CrossCheck is here, right in the heart of it. Starting out with a great evening reception yesterday, the tradeshow continues today and tomorrow and the floor is buzzing with activity.

CrossCheck is set up in Booth 424 and is one of over 200 exhibitors. We’ve been actively participating with ETA for several years and this really is a must-attend event for us and anyone in the payments industry. We love going to Vegas, but boy or po-boy if you will, New Orleans is truly a great place for a tradeshow. The street scenes are amazing, there is music everywhere you go and the food is out-of-this-world great. I’m still thinking about the beignets from Café Du Monde and admittedly, one of the best meals I’ve ever had at Commander’s Palace.

Cafe Du MondeBut I digress, back to the show.

We’ve been busy at the CrossCheck booth meeting new contacts interested in including our check processing services as part of their offerings. We’ve had lots of inquiries about our equity-sharing affiliate programs, too. Of course, one of the highlights of an industry meeting like this one is having the chance to visit with friends and acquaintances from years past which we did last night at the President’s Dinner.

The CrossCheck team includes our President and CEO, Dave Siembieda, Executive Vice President and COO, Chris Schumacher, Vice President of Partner and ISO Relations Travis Powers, Senior Vice President, Tiffany Lucas, National Sales Trainer Todd Little, Vice President of Information Systems, Shane Miller and Director of Partner Acquisitions, Brandy Elitch.

CrossCheck celebrates 30 years of businessThis year is special for us as we are celebrating our 30th year of business. Cake will be served along with cocktails (hey, we’re 30!) and, of course, we have some giveaways, too, including iPad Minis. Stop by Booth 424 at 2 pm on Wednesday for cake and the first Mini drawing.

Off the floor there has been a ton of things happening, too. Workshops and seminars provide access to industry insiders and pundits and provide an opportunity to hear about the many innovations happening in payments today. ETA has lots of information on mobile payments and has devoted an area on the tradeshow floor to mobile payment providers. There has been a bit of a buzz about ETA’s global plans too.

Tomorrow I’m going to take a few minutes and check out some of the other booths including the ones from NPC, Dejavoo, HarborTouch and ProfitStars.

Are you attending the show? Let me know what you find amazing.
