CrossCheck and Our C.A.R.S. Dealer Program Win Big at NADA 2012

NADA 2012 was a huge win for CrossCheck. Charles Dortch and Julius Dr J Erving

Our booth was located in a medium to high traffic area which allowed us consistent interaction with the dealers.

My team of Alan Levine, Eric Stegner and Jason Lindell were very engaging. They pitched the C.A.R.S. program to everyone that stopped by and gave demonstrations of how the product works. We also held a drawing for a $100 gift certificate to Ruth's Chris Steak House.  Our winner was Jerry Dillard, President of Fitzgerald Auto Malls.  Enjoy your steak, Jerry!One of the most rewarding aspects of what we do as sales representatives for CrossCheck is explaining how our products can help dealerships increase sales, improve cash flow and reduce risk.

Jason Lindell of CrossCheck at NADA 2012For a fraction of what dealerships pay for credit card processing, we provide them with tools that allow them to convert paper checks to guaranteed electronic funds, which are deposited safely into their account within 48-72 hours.

For those who say they don’t have a bad check problem, it’s important to understand that CrossCheck does more than solve a bad check problem. A large portion of our clients utilize our multiple check premium to increase sales. When a customer doesn’t have the funds necessary to satisfy a down payment, we allow the dealer to accept 2-4 checks for the total down payment in order to capture the sale that day.

Our goal for the show was to scan 100 badges over three days. On day one we scanned 50 badges. After day two we were up to 91. We far surpassed our goal, and after grading the leads, found we have over 100 worthy of immediate follow-up. How many deals did we sign at the show? How many deals do we anticipate signing afterwards, as a result of attending the show? C'mon baby, that's the secret sauce, but suffice it to say - Nailed It!

The show also gave us an opportunity to interact with several of our state auto dealer association partners at various meetings, cocktail receptions and networking functions. Hats off to Tim Jackson, President, and Lauren Stadler, Executive and Communications Assistant, of the Colorado Auto Dealers Association for putting together a fabulous Super Bowl party at Gordon Biersch!

2012 also marked the first time that NADA co-located with the American Truck Dealers forNADA 2012 Convention and Expo their annual conference. While we did not have extensive interaction with the members of this association, we were able to find two large truck dealer groups that can definitely benefit from our Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) product.

One of the other nice aspects of attending NADA 2012 is you never know who you’re going to meet. At this year’s show I had the pleasure of meeting NBA Legend Julius "Dr. J" Erving, NFL Great and 2,000 yard rusher Eric Dickerson, and 1972 Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Rodgers!
