CrossCheck at WHFA Las Vegas Market Booth 37 - Day Two Recap

Jason Lindell at WHFAAs expected, day two of the WHFA 2012 Las Vegas Market was very busy! The flow of traffic as compared to day one was like night and day.

We were visited by retailers, manufacturers, designers and distributors all wanting to know exactly who is CrossCheck and what is it we do. Our response is simple: We help retailers in the home furnishings industry increase sales, reduce risk and improve cash flow. Judging by the responses we received throughout the day, we are on the right track.

Quite a few prospective clients came to visit us as a result of receiving an email, a phone call, hearing about us from one of our current clients, or from reading one of our blog posts.

During the day, we brought on two new clients with our 90-day multiple check program. This service is a huge hit among home furnishings retailers in that it allows them to accept 2-4 checks from a customer for the full amount of a purchase to be deposited over a 90-day period. All approved checks are funded electronically, which improves cash flow for the retailer. The customer gets to take the furniture home that day, CrossCheck assumes the risk and responsibility, and the world is round!

Even with the steady flow of traffic throughout the day, we still found time to visit other exhibitors throughout the marketplace to gain an understanding of their various businesses and to find if there’s a way our services can be of benefit. These visits proved to be very fruitful and resulted in two very hot leads.

CrossCheck, WHFA, Next Gen Chatter Over CocktailsThe convention center closed at 5pm, but our day was far from over. We had the pleasure of attending the Next Generation Chatter Over Cocktails event at the One-Six Club in building B of the World Market Center. This was an incredible networking opportunity where we were able to interact with the up and coming players in the home furnishings industry. We met and interacted with some very dynamic young professionals in the industry, most of whom were very interested in the products and services we offer.

Day three promises to be even better than day two. We have several appointments scheduled as well as multiple verbal commitments. The week is young, the opportunities are limitless and we’re focused on making this winter market a true success!
