The “location, location, location” mantra of real estate resonates across many industries, including automotive retail where the close proximity of auto dealerships to one another is a plus. Location is also an advantage for automotive tradeshows such as the 2019 NADA Show scheduled for Jan. 24 – 27, 2019 at San Francisco’s Moscone Center, one of the most sought-after venues in the world.
The large gathering of auto dealers, managers, consultants and industry experts — projected at 10,000 strong — will immerse themselves in a huge exposition, educational opportunities, franchise meetings, social events and the entire San Francisco Bay Area. NADA offers a dedicated website for the show with details about schedules, speakers, blog articles, travel and accommodations, exhibitors and social media channels.
CrossCheck has been exhibiting at the NADA Show for the last 20 years. Its senior sales team will be in Booth #4924N (near Ford, GM and Toyota) where they will share payment solutions including CrossCheck's Auto Industry RDC Solution (C.A.R.S.) service. C.A.R.S. helps auto dealerships increase sales and mitigate risk while saving time and money (details below).
About the 2019 NADA Show Expo
“The expo,” states NADA, “is the auto industry’s premier marketplace, with more than 500 companies and 600,000 square feet of space and thousands of products, solutions and services in one place. The NADA Show Expo offers face-to-face communication that connects buyers and sellers to help build long-lasting relationships.”
NADA says having a plan in place before auto dealerships get to the show and using the following recommendations is crucial to a successful experience:
- Engage with exhibitors before the show by creating a MyPlanner profile online to view products and services needed by auto dealerships.
- Schedule appointments in advance to meet preferred vendors onsite at the show.
- Look for the daily “Show Specials” and video demos that are unique to NADA attendees while planning an Expo shopping experience.
- Use the upcoming NADA Show mobile app (where attendees can download their MyPlanner itinerary), search by company name or product category, and navigate directly to a specific vendor with the interactive map.
Auto dealerships may view the 2019 Exhibitors Listing and Floor Plan, Expo Specialty Booths, and NADA Lifestyle Experience on the NADA website.
Expo Specialty Booths
The NADA Show offers three Expo Specialty Booths to enhance the experience for auto dealerships in attendance:
- Social Connection Zone – An interactive booth featuring daily social media learning sessions, interactive discussions and rapid charging stations.
- NADA Pavilion – A space showcasing NADA member services such as the 20 Group Program, legislative and regulatory efforts, and the NADA Academy.
- NADA Dealers/Manager Lounge – A place for auto dealerships to meet with team members.
NADA Lifestyle Experience
The two Lifestyle Experience pavilions, Excite and Relax, are located on the expo floor, allowing auto dealerships to take a break. Excite focuses on beauty and fashion (consultations, a boutique, manicures, hair styling, aromatherapy and headsets for music) while Relax includes a chair massage station and the Oxygen Bar (featuring saturated whiffs of oxygen scented with fragrances).
Other Lifestyles Activities for Auto Dealerships
South of Market, also known as "SOMA," is more than two square miles of sleek nightclubs, fashionable restaurants, art hubs and the nation’s most beautiful ballpark. Yerba Buena Gardens, “the largest concentration of art west of the Hudson River,” is an oasis in the heart of the city. Moscone Center and more than a dozen museums are located here as well as a memorial to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
For those wanting to venture beyond the city, the San Francisco Bay region offers a variety of activities such as wine tasting (Sonoma County, Napa Valley and Santa Cruz Mountains), hiking (Mt Tamalpais, Mt Diablo and Tilden Regional Park) and site seeing (Golden Gate Bridge, Muir Woods, Alcatraz Island and Angel Island). See Trip Advisor for more info.
CrossCheck at the NADA Show
CrossCheck will be making appointments and welcoming drop-in visitors from auto dealerships to discuss the benefits of the C.A.R.S. service.
C.A.R.S. uses Remote Deposit Capture to electronically process and deposit checks with guaranteed funding to auto dealership accounts (usually within 48 hours). The service saves time and money by eliminating claims submissions, bank visits to deposit checks, missed deposit dates and the collection of bad checks. C.A.R.S. includes two premium services: Multiple Check helps increase sales by giving consumers 30 extra days to complete down payments without financing or credit checks while Check on Delivery (COD) mitigates risk by eliminating returned checks on parts department sales.
