Accounting Analyst


The Accounting Analyst will be responsible for providing support for various accounting and treasury processes, for developing effective financial data analyses for management, and for administration of budget and forecasting models. This position also assists with ad hoc projects and the interpretation of cash flow results.


Job Duties

  • Support annual budget, forecasting, and variance analysis activities. Provide exhibits to clarify financial results and complete special reporting requests as needed.
  • Ensure the accuracy of transactional records; evaluate current financial processing and transaction control processes.
  • Support the day-to-day operations of parent and subsidiary accounting and financial analysis functions. Assist with treasury functions and regulatory filings as required.
  • Serve as a key member of the design and implementation teams for any company initiatives affecting the accounting department.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and analyze various income and expense accounts.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with other employees.
  • Ability to meet department attendance requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively under departmental pressure/stress situations
  • Provide rotational support for accounting and treasury functions.
  • Oversee report filing and archiving in accordance with corporate records retention guidelines.
  • Performs other similar or associated duties as necessary to accomplish job objectives in an effective manner as assigned by Management or as responsibilities necessitate.  

Education/Experience Required to Perform the Job

  • Bachelor’s degree with courses in accounting
  • Two years of accounting experience.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
