(Oct. 2, 2019) — Employees of CrossCheck and its subsidiary, Optio Solutions, contributed $1,880 to the American Cancer Society during a summer fundraising campaign held at three company locations. The effort consisted of special dress down days in Petaluma, Calif.; Irving, Texas; and Fargo, N.D. and a pancake breakfast in Petaluma. A team of company volunteers also worked the registration tent at the Relay for Life of Southern Sonoma County on Sept. 14.

Petaluma, Calif. (July 15, 2019) — The volunteer effort by staff members of CrossCheck and affiliate, Optio Solutions, at the Redwood Empire Food Bank has reached 14 consecutive months. Ten employees participated in the food bank’s weekday Warehouse Support program on June 27. Food bank representative Cassidy Jourdan said the staff members helped package 4,722 pounds of fresh apples and oranges, representing 3,935 meals for seniors in need.

Volunteer Coordinator Joy Ferguson said the carrots represent 2,000 meals for seniors in need. Launched in May 2018, the humanitarian effort marks the ninth consecutive month that CrossCheck and Optio employees have worked the REFB’s weekday Warehouse Support program.
