Petaluma, California (October 3, 2017) — Employees at CrossCheck, a payments guarantee company, contributed a total of $2,595 to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts via the American Red Cross. Staff members from company offices in Petaluma, California and Irving, Texas took part in the fundraising drive. Each was awarded with optional “dress-down days” during the month of September after donating $30, replacing business casual with jeans.
“Our employees are always ready to help other Americans in need,” said CrossCheck President and CEO J. David Siembieda. “Contributing to humanitarian efforts is part of our company-wide commitment to philanthropy.”
In other community service, CrossCheck employees take an active role in holiday food drives that aggregate turkeys and fill barrels of food for the Committee on the Shelterless (COTS) and its Thanksgiving Day turkey drive partner, the Redwood Empire Food Bank. They also participate in the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program and local efforts to support those affected by other natural disasters.
