ISOs to Attend ETA Event: 2017 Transact

In less than one month, Las Vegas will transform into a hub of knowledge-sharing, innovation and technological discovery for the payments industry. 2017 Transact, hosted by the Electronic Transactions Association (ETA), will draw ISOs, VARs, large financial institutions including banks, payment processors and developers, tech startups, entrepreneurs, and other payments industry stakeholders located within the United Sates and across the globe.

The payments industry event will take place May 10 – May 12 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Nevada. With over 4,000 attendees — including 1,000 plus C-level executives, more than 200 exhibitors set to debut leading payments technology, and a selection of beneficial sessions — ISOs will find a wealth of business-enhancing opportunities at 2017 Transact.Pre-conference council and committee meetings will commence on Tuesday, May 9. Acquirers and processors can attend the PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) Acquirer Forum on Tuesday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Attendees will join an interactive discussion on data breach activity, better payment security integration and security of global commerce.

Education

2017 Transact offers four educational tracks. Security Technologies dives into the payments security landscape, providing an insider’s look at cutting edge tools and concepts for information security, risk management and fraud reduction. 22nd Century Payments explores the benefits of point-of-sale payments for businesses, outlining a variety of digital applications and strategies for secure transactions. Globalization serves to equip attendees with the proper skills for cross-border payments compliance. Politics & Policy analyzes legislative and regulatory topics along with a variety of issues pertaining to data collection, breach notification and more.

Attendees can earn one ETA CPP Continuing Education (CE) credit per 50 minutes of ETA-related session time.

ETA University (ETAU) courses will share current progress, regulations and payment industry matters concerning ISOs and other payment vendors and providers.

Join payments industry leaders for Keynote presentations to gain a closer look into the world of payments technology, implementation, security, and sales.

Networking

Connect with old colleagues and create new connections at ETA’s networking events, scheduled to take place May 9 – 12.

2017 Transact Contests

ETA will host two contests, the Payments Pitch-Off (PPO) and TransactitOut. At PPO, payments startups will compete for the chance to win the E-Pay Innovation award along with $25,000 by presenting an original business product to a judging panel. Businesses attending the ETA event may submit a video or graphic showcasing its company story for TransactitOut. The entry with the highest number of social media engagements will receive five Transact 2018 passes.
