Progressive Affiliated Lumbermen (PAL) is a member owned co-op located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. PAL is a leader in the lumber and building materials industry. PAL has the distinction of being the oldest lumber and building materials co-op in the United States. Established in 1934 an incorporated in 1937, PAL was started by 7 independent lumber dealers with the vision to combine their purchases to increase their buying power.
